Handwashing tips to stop the spread of COVID-19

COVID-19 is a reminder to everyone about the importance of hand hygiene. Of course, we shouldn’t need reminding, but washing our hands can prevent the spread of disease. You should practice proper handwashing before, during, and after food prep, after using the toilet, after touching garbage and public surfaces such as doorknobs, and of course, after coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose.

These simple tips can stop the spread

• Always use soap
• Lather your hands properly
• Scrub your hands and between the fingers for 20 seconds (sing happy birthday)
• Rinse your hands with clean water
• Dry your hands with clean paper towel or air dry

                 Attention All Patients

This is an important update about MyMedicare and Care Plans.
Some Care Plans (including Chronic Disease Mangement Plans and Mental
Health Care Plans) can only be completed at the practice a patient is
registered with under MyMedicare.

At this time, Market Street Medical is not registered with MyMedicare.

If you have previously signed up to MyMedicare at another clinic - even if you
may not remember doing so - your Care Plan and allied health referrals will
need to continue through that clinic.

If you are not registered anywhere under MyMedicare, your Care Plan can continue to be completed here as normal.

If you find you are registered elsewhere - please don't worry. We will explain your options and support your care. Our reception team is here to help
