Women’s Health

Staying on top of your health is one of our main goals here at Market Street Medical Practice. We believe in listening to our patients to ensure all their needs and concerns are met. For women, it is important to know your body and what is ‘normal’ for you, and to speak up if you are worried. Whether you are currently experiencing painful periods, are looking into different methods of contraception, or are ready for your next Cervical Screening Test (CST), our professional staff will help you feel as comfortable as possible in the process.

Our women’s health Doctors are trained in popular birth control devices such as Implanon and Mirena. They are able to provide support and assistance in choosing the right contraception for you and your body including insertion, removal and after care support.

                 Attention All Patients

This is an important update about MyMedicare and Care Plans.
Some Care Plans (including Chronic Disease Mangement Plans and Mental
Health Care Plans) can only be completed at the practice a patient is
registered with under MyMedicare.

At this time, Market Street Medical is not registered with MyMedicare.

If you have previously signed up to MyMedicare at another clinic - even if you
may not remember doing so - your Care Plan and allied health referrals will
need to continue through that clinic.

If you are not registered anywhere under MyMedicare, your Care Plan can continue to be completed here as normal.

myGov -> Medicare -> MyMedicare -> View MyMedicare

If you find you are registered elsewhere - please don't worry. We will explain your options and support your care. Our reception team is here to help
