Contraceptive Implant Insertion and Removal

Contraceptive Implant Insertion and Removal

Contraceptive implants are a reversible form of contraception, where a small rod is inserted into your arm and releases the hormone etonogestrel to prevent pregnancy. This hormone will stop you from releasing an egg each month and is easy to reverse by taking the rod out. Our professional team are able to help in both these tasks, keeping you comfortable throughout.

                 Attention All Patients

This is an important update about MyMedicare and Care Plans.
Some Care Plans (including Chronic Disease Mangement Plans and Mental
Health Care Plans) can only be completed at the practice a patient is
registered with under MyMedicare.

At this time, Market Street Medical is not registered with MyMedicare.

If you have previously signed up to MyMedicare at another clinic - even if you
may not remember doing so - your Care Plan and allied health referrals will
need to continue through that clinic.

If you are not registered anywhere under MyMedicare, your Care Plan can continue to be completed here as normal.

myGov -> Medicare -> MyMedicare -> View MyMedicare

If you find you are registered elsewhere - please don't worry. We will explain your options and support your care. Our reception team is here to help
