Diving carries with it a certain amount of risk and some medical conditions can make these risks much higher. There are medical standards in place relating to diving in Australia, to ensure your safety. We can carry out a recreational dive medical prior to any diving activity, so you are aware of any issues that may cause harm in the process.

Diving is a particular risk for people with asthma. Our doctors do not conduct dive medicals on people with a history of asthma. Dr’s Peta and Nici Leonard are registered dive medical examiners.

                 Attention All Patients

This is an important update about MyMedicare and Care Plans.
Some Care Plans (including Chronic Disease Mangement Plans and Mental
Health Care Plans) can only be completed at the practice a patient is
registered with under MyMedicare.

At this time, Market Street Medical is not registered with MyMedicare.

If you have previously signed up to MyMedicare at another clinic - even if you
may not remember doing so - your Care Plan and allied health referrals will
need to continue through that clinic.

If you are not registered anywhere under MyMedicare, your Care Plan can continue to be completed here as normal.
